How can I lower the suspension of a model such the primera man one's?

Some ingenuity combined with close examination of the suspension parts. There's no pre-defined way to lower the suspension on models. There is one slight way if it has leaf springs in the rear. You can either flip the axle, or swap out a different set of leaf springs.

I think we should make a list and permanently put it on the top of the forum to keep this from happening, things like "use primer" and "theres no specific way to lower a suspension, every model is different"

sorry, not picking on you, its just that it happens too much.

This question has been repeatedly anwered through out this Forum, like everyone else said, study ur suspension and see what u could do with least modifications. There is no one way for this.

Shorten the distance between the tire and wheel arch by modifying some suspension parts.
Which part to cut and bend depends on each model.

Most people here have summed it up on how to do it. Each car is different. The best way is to try and work it out for yourself. If you want to lower the car by 3mm...then you will need to remove 3mm of plastic from somewhere. Most times the best way is to cut bits out of the shocks so it sits higher into the guards

With my old kits I would just tear out all suspension and glue the wheels to the inside of the wheel arch!:D It works if you aren't showing the bottom of the car...but.......Its a bit immature :P
