1997 M3 center vent

Hi there, I am looking at purchasing a 1997 BMW M3 and I noticed that the center A/C vent can only point in one direction. Is there any sort of aftermarket kit or stock modification that will allow me to have the center vent point at both passengers? Would a newer M3 vent fit properly? I'm in Arizona and A/C for both hront passengers is a must have.

Thanks for the advice!

Wow...a familiar face.....lol. Yes, you're the young guy......

Starting to think about it. I really like my car, but my future brother in law is moving next summer and might be selling his M3. Even if he doesn't, I'd still like to fix that vent for him.

okay, I looked at the centre vent thing.....

The reason why it only goes in one direction is beccause the passenger has 2 vents........the 2 that's right in front of them. But the drivers side, only has 1.........the one that's close to the door.......so they made a one direction centre vent, so the passenger and the driver both have 2 vents. I hope you know what I mean...

I don't think the new m3 vents will be fittable, because they are totally different.......u will need to do a whole bunch of fibreglass work if u wanted that...
