Im trying to Install a aftermarket head unit in my Honda civic 01 and the thing is that i dont know how to take out the stock stereo. and in order for me to that i think i have to remove the dash BUT i dont kno how remove the dash... SO if someone knows how to remove it or maybe knows a web site that explains how to remove it would be greatly apperciated if someone can give that info. Thanks

You have to push from the back of the unit to pop out a few pins. You dont need to remove the dash just the front console on the 03's and up we had to remove the lower console by the gear box as well..Be mindful of the cig lighter this can cause issues as well.

That whole piece should pop out here is DIY I found if this helps....
Remove shift boot from knob, unscrew. If it's an AT model, I think the trim ring comes up and then everything else is the same.
Pull up on shift boot. Pull HARD. There are about 6 clips that will come up. The entire center piece will come off.
Remove two screws from the U-shaped piece of trim. They are on either side, about 2/3 of the way to the dash.
Remove 6 clips from the side of the trim. You will see these. You can use a SMALL (read: SMALL!) hammer to knock them out softly.
Pull TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE CAR (NOT the sides) on the rest of the piece. It should come off with relatively little effort.
Remove 2 screws from the underside, as with the 2001/2002 models.
Remove the dash the same as the 2001/2002 models.
