Thanks Dagerlee. In fact , this Tamiya kits (specially the R1) are the best kits of the third-gen RX7 on the market except for the breathtaking 1/12 from Hasegawa. Forget about Fujimi and Aoshima, Tamiya is the best in 1/24 for it.
Here I put another Japanese one , the '93 Celica SS-II which was real nice to build , and with the engine (well detailed) looks rather nice.Interior, as in the red RX7 is done with the Tamiya's flat black spry.Pity about the wheels too dark the allumium Xf-16+clear coat. it's better to use X-11 chrome silver in that case.
I'll finish also the `94Celica GT-Four , This one is already painted silver , but Don't know if putting it the big rear wing, may be itīs better the standard size.Iīll try to home-copy the engine for to install it in other Toyota model-kits that have it.
Well , judge by yourselves:
P.D. Nice R1 DagerLee.You remind me with that I have to restore an old Union 1/15 Kawa Z550Fx.
If anyone needs info , pics, and so about Jap cars, do not hesitate and ask me.I'm your man.I have pics even the ashtrays of the strangest models!!!!
