Enzo taillight question

I just bought Revell's new Ferrari Enzo model. Though it is the best Revell model I have seen yet (it even has mesh for all the air intakes :grinyes: ), it is lacking one thing--clear taillights. :banghead: All four taillights are molded in transparent red. This is a problem of course, because the centers are supposed to be two clear and two amber. What should I do? I was thinking drill out the centers and replace them with pieces of clear model lenses in my spares box, then paint the centers of the two amber, but it would be hard to cut those perfect circles. Tell me what you all think.

Either you can drill the small holes very cleanly and insert clear rod in the void, or you paint small dots in the centers (which you will have to do with the clear lense inserts as well). Whatever is easiest/cleanest for you. You may find it easy, or you may destroy your lenses. Practice first to find out, on something other than the Enzo lenses.

If you paint them do the backup lenses light gray as they are never pure white, and apply clear yellow over light gray or white for the amber turn signals, and it should look just fine.

Yeah, i got that kit, too and i'm just going to tint the lights.

You could drill out and insert stretched clear sprue or fibre optic cable?
