I'm not normally that keen on the large wheels look on old muscle cars but have to admit that you've made a brilliant job of it. The paint finish is superb and the mod's that you've done including leaving it without bumpers all look terrific.

The only thing I may have done is add some P/E wiper blades onto the wiper arms.

Is there a progress thread? Interested to know what you thought of the AMT kit? The body shape looks spot on and even the bonnet (hood) fit looks perfect!

Thanks. progress is here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=589524).
yes, if used P/E wiper it looks better. I hate AMT kits.:p because body, small parts mold and panel lines are very rough.
especially engine parts are omitted detail. I sanded body for make correct surface and redescribed all panel lines.
also it's needed to add some detailing on interior and engine.
after all, I think nobody can make AMT model clean without care and mods.:disappoin :)

Congratulations on finishing this one in a orderly kunta fashion.
It's spectacularly shiny, and red!

I want to lick it because it looks very tasty!

Yes I agree they always need a lot of effort but the result is worth it and AMT do always seem to capture the shape of the original car very well.

It seems to be the older kits that seem to suffer from panel lines not being very well defined, presumably because the moulds have been used so many times over the years?

Awesome built!
The only thing I see wrong is with the rims.
Maybe you should add one of those Sakatsu lug nuts in the center, or give a little blackwash to the rims.
Just a suggestion.

Typical world class model from you. It's beautiful and I am especially impressed with the engine bay. It's amazing how clean and elegant you make every piece to produce a work of art.

I cant believe you actually built that out of the AMT kit. I would have gone with the monogram version, but they don't have the '68, unfortunately.

that is just fantastic. stunning. that is a true show stopper indeed.
