Low speed brake noise

I have a 2002 Alero, 3.4L, four wheel disc brakes. There have been a couple of other posts, I believe in 2004, regarding a creaking type of noise at low speeds coming from the brakes. In my case the noise is coming from the front. I replaced the original GM brakes in front last summer with Brembo plain rotors and Akebono cermic pads. For about a year I didn't hear any noises. I haven't checked it out yet, but could the problem be the pads binding on the pad retainers? Are you supposed to lubricate the surfaces on the pad retainers that are in contact with the brake pads?

There is a TSB on this problem # 040523004, would anyone know what the TSB recommends as the fix?

Thanks in advance for your help.

:)

The caliper pin bolts should be lubricated. But your problem sounds like the Brembo plain rotors. I've heard of Brembo plain rotors failing after 6 months. Excess lateral runout - warpage.
