Pumping up Hydraulic valve How

So my valve chatter is normal after sitting for 6 months. The oil drops low and the3 valves are dry. I called my Porsche guy and he told me there is so stuff by a very strange name. Starts with an S. So if I don't use this, what is the reccommended way to pump up the valves? Do I start it and let it idol for a few? Will I damage it if I leave it running? I drove it up and down the street once thinking it would clear up but it didn't. I thought I had a real problem until I was told it was normal. But how do I clear it up?
