Ok I'm considering buying a 99 prelude that has caught on fire. The person selling is only asking 700 for the car. It has a clean title and no leans. so I was wondering if I should get it or not! I opened the hood in the car and nothing looks to badly damaged. looks like maybe the whole front wire harness needs to be replaced and all hoses and oter stuff!how much am I possable looking to invest in this car? and one other question is would the engine maybe still be good? please feel free to ad any comments!

Have you already negotiated the price? Are you able to determine the cause and where the fire started? Very likely the engine is still good. If you are doing the work, you can control the cost. Make a parts list and ask a recycler prices of the harness and components.
