kenwood or kicker

hi, i am looking for a amp for 2 type r's that i am going to be getting once i decide on the amp and thats where i need some elses opinion.

i found a kenwood XXV-03A 1-Channel Amplifier for 350 (1kw rms @1 ohm)
and i found a kicker kx1200 for 350 (1kw rms @1 &2 ohm)

i have not fully decided if i am going to be getting the 4 ohm or the 2 ohm type r's becuase of the amp.

what is the rated power handling of the type r's you are looking at ?

500 rms and 1500 peak
