prizm vs civic

i was sitin at my hell i mean my work and it was about 11 at night and we have people that sit out in front well this little 2003 civic rolls up with spoiler rims and leds he and his friend come over too where we were and started flirtin with my girl too make a long story short he ended sayin my car was a pos well i was already pissed because the thing with my girl we ended up at the place we race he was tryin too heat up his tires you know to get traction lol i just pulll up too the line. when we take off i beat him off the line but he was about 1/2 a car behind me at this point i start too think he might get me well i was wrong we hit about 50 and i just pounded his ass in the ground bad after the race we were talkin and he shut the fuck up fast lol no more shit talkin it was a really good race for a little bit and i told him that was a good race i mean tryin to be nice but he didnt want to hear it so he hasnt been up there since

no his rims where lighter than mine i have a few engine mods like an short ram , and a flowmaster but my girl beat a cavalier with my car i beat a dodge v6, a like 1988 mustang,aford 4 wheel drive v6,hyundai tiberon, i kept up with a brand new dodge hemi for about 6 seconds i beat him off the line and had him for a few seconds then he blew by me quick and some other cars i know some of you guys dont believe me and i dont care because it happend say what you want but it did

98prizim, this is the thing, most of us just make fun of random stuff. sure the prizium can be made really fast with the turbo swift engine swap. its just that you dont see many racing prizims. the reason most of us seem like we are being 'dicks' to you is that you're not providing us with enough information to see how well the race actually went. sentance structure also helps us read it.

check this out though. find his wheels and then the stock ones. they mostly weigh more if he went up in size unless he actually dumped about 1500 to make it worth performance wise.

Ok sorry. Yea the mustang had to have been the 4 cyl. Because my friend has a 5.0 and there is no way in hell i could keep up with it. What about that turbo engine swap can you tell me more info on it.

You know in 88 Ford was going to release a 400 HP twin turbo V8 Stang (turbos by roush) but it never got the go ahead for production. Too bad huh. I guess it could have been an 87 V6 mustang that he raced if he is sure it was a 6.....87 and 88 Stangs are pretty hard to tell apart.

There is this guy in town and i told him to find me races that he thinks it would be hard for me to beat, well he finds the slowest cars in town for me to race because he thinks my car is slow as shit but every race he finds i have beat them and i guess he just dosnt understand move up a class but im just gonna keep racing the ppl he brings until he gets the idea.

nope, the metro and prizm are completely different, 98prizm has a 1998 prizm, he has a different generation prizm with the 1zzfe engine also shared with the corolla, later model celica gt, and other various cars.. This gen would benefit from the 2zzge engine found in the 7th gen celica gt-s and 9th gen corolla XRS, also found in some lotus elise models, it should be a complete bolt-on.

I've never heard of the 3 cylinder prizm, are you sure its a prizm and not a metro? what year is it?

How much power do they push, and would I have to get a new computer and wiring harness?

i'm assuming yes and yes, the 2zzge here in the States are around 180-ish hp, i wouldn't worry about swapping for anything if i was you :lol:, i've never heard of anyone who's done it before because of the cost and everything $$$$$, and you'll be only gaining about...60 or so hp, most people turboed or supercharged the 1zzfe, some are spraying NAWWWZZZZZ.........but overall if you want a street raper, most people get a better platform.

If I am correct you said that the car is an auto. With automatic transmission getting any major power adder is pointless. Tranny will not last a day if you will have you Geo putting 200whp. Get a 5 speed transmission, and a performance clutch. As far as turbo goes, I am not sure about availibility of bolt on turbo kits for corollas/geos. You will most likely have to get a custom one.
On stock internals it could hold maybe 12PSI for a few weeks, safe bet is to have 6PSI. But with 6PSI you will get about 15-25 increase in power.
As you can see making your car fast will require a lot of work and $$$$$, if you add all the costs you will have enough to afford a 1988-1991 Supra turbo or IROC or a 5.0. All of this cars a by far much faster than Geo and have much greater potential and after market support.
