I have had my 04 for two trouble free years. 45k mile. The l-6 has plenty of power and runs smooth and quiet. 18mpg city / 23 highway

Smoothness, ease of basic maintenance and under-hood purdyness :icon16: are the plusses of the 4.2L I6 IMO. Power feel and towing is good, but she's no tire smoker with GM's software and gearing. MPG wise? May as well get a V8. TB's are a great used buy. There's a zillion of them on the road.

i thought of getting a used one. I've seen 03's with about 40K miles that are $14-15k. The wife was the EXT version cause of the 3rd row seats. Hell we never haul anyone in the Montana van that has 3rd row seats. women......:screwy:
