Emergency Brake dash light stays on

Light that normally comes on when emergency brake is applied started flickering when making a sharp left turn. Now it is on all the time. Switch looks to be fine. First, is there another use for this light.
If not would it be possible that it is making ground somewhere?

more than likely it is grounded out some where. My best guess would be to start at your e-brake lever/ pedel what ever your car has and find where the switch is on that and then follow the wire/wires attached to it to see if you can find anything that would cause your light to come on
