what should I do with this?

When I bought my '99 LTZ I knew (from the carfax) that it'd been in a left side collision. I could easily tell that the driver's door had been repainted (the label on the door didn't have my VIN--->Door was replaced/repainted. It looks good, however when I was detailing it I noticed some of the paint on the inside of the door flaked off (as seen in the picture) I was wondering what I should do about this. I don't want to leave it the way it is...winter is coming and Cold=Snow=lots of moisture=RUST:banghead: Could I just get a can of clearcoat and seal it or should I get some touch up paint, then seal it. It is on the inside of the door so I'm not too worried with how it looks. Any thoughts?

If you arent woried about looks, im sure you can just seal it w/out any touch up paint.

In the door jamb? Get a closely matching color, paint it, then let it cure out. You can cleacoat it or not. After you're certain all solvents are out of the paint (usually 30 days) seal it and the rest of the body with your favorite wax/sealer/polish.

Yeah, hit it with whatever...that looks like the zinc corrosion-proof primer under the paint...it's not gonna rust too fast...
