155mph speed limit...

Hello, I have a BMW M6 and I was driving cross country, and there are places in Montana where there are no speed limits. Well, i got it up to around 155 and my baby wouldn't go any faster. I have done some research and i have found out that the speed limit is electronically limited to 155mph. Is there anyway to disable this, or at least set it higher?

Well, if you really DO own an M6 then were in the same boat. Ive driven a few at work. But anyways, you can have the dealer remove the governer (top speed limiter). But check with them first, because it may or may not void the warrenty.
