Ferrari engine paint question

I have a question regarding the replication of the finish on Ferrari engine parts. I am planning to purchase both an F430 and and Enzo in 1/24 scale. I love how Ferrari's engine bays are so clean and orderly that you could eat off of them, :grinyes: and since the most prominent part of these works-of-art are those huge intake ducts, I want to replicate them perfectly. So, what's the best method for reproducing that crinkle-finish Ferrari red paint in 1/24 scale? Overspray, baking soda, or what? Tell me what you all think. Thanks.

Thicker than usual paint and bigger than usual distance should do the trick, but I would suggest practicing first.

I recently bought a spraycan of 'granit style' of trans-color and I hope that will do the trick.
