New Tamiya spray, need some answers about it please!

Its called Candy Appel green and its metallic, I dont know if i should use a gold or silver undercoat for it. Has anyone used this colour before?

Gold will look better. Check the "your first model" post; I posted pics of the 'California Roller" van:)
