Window regulator mechanism

The rear window of my e46 328i jammed. I removed the panel and found the cable had jumped the pulley and is now bent and tangled. Is this repairable? The regulator itself is functioning fine. It's the cable that needs to be re-routed and likely replaced, but the pulley looks riveted in place and not removeable. Any suggestions on where to find a "how to" on this? The Bentley manual doesn't address this procedure.
