Hi guys,

the fenders on my sedan are pretty fubar

now i am wanting to get a set in fibreglass preferably , i have been looking on ebay.com and have spotted the ones with 4 small vents in a row and like the look of them.

do they do these to fit the sedans as i only see them for civic/crx ?

Do you mean Z3 fenders? IMO you should stick with stock and maybe add corner lights. Z3 fenders are cooked uncle bens rice.

Dude, civic fenders weight about 1/2 lb. I was afraid I was going to fold mine in half when I took em off.

yeah they shouldent fit and even if they were made for the sadan. most body kits/aftermarket fenders and body peices wont fit correctly on the cars they are saposed to. but if they are lighter i would make sure they fit then bondo the gay gills on them. and have light wieght fenders. nevermind thats to much trouble for a half a lb.

If you want the Z3/Z4 look, you can always just get a set of fender vents from (AVS?) anyway, there are several companies that make them...

when you get your new (preferably steel) fenders,
lay the template,
cut the hole,
grind about 1" around the hole,
put some sealant on the back of each vent, VERY THIN LAYER,
clean up the excess sealant,
then bondo or fibreglas the seam,
sand smooth and primer,
Then paint 'em to match your carall in all, it's not a horribly difficult mod, but for a first timer, it requires some patience and general knowledge of body work

So, if you still wanna do it, good luck, and happy cutting :grinyes:
