no it's just that they'd rather put money into a car to make it look good instead of actually putting components under the bonnet that will make it faster and/or handle better

I like to work on the Q Car theory. I don't parade what I've got, certainly don't write War and Peace down the side of the car, don't go looking to show it off but I can't help grinning when I use it...

I'd rather have a car that did 0-60 mph in 6 seconds than one that had writing down the side that took 60 seconds to read...

i definately agree. If it's one thing i can not stand, is a ricer. I for one like imports and domestics, and yes, i am asian. And just because i drive a honda doesn't mean shit. i've seen people here in LB who share fuckin rims. 2 for each car, then roll on stock steelies in the front. wth is that. a lot of my friends just got into the car thing and they are ricers in the biggest way. They all make fun of me cuz i wanted an old school 88 hatch or maybe some detroit muscle, but i would love to see their faces after i do a fat ass burnout on their pretty polyurethane faces...........

Here in the great state, we are blessed with what is commenly refered to as a posuer. A person with NO originality, and no style! About 2 weeks ago me and mu friend were out driving around (cuz if you lived here you'd drive around alot too..) and we had the awsome pleasure of running in to a 2002 Toyota Celica ALL STOCK, absolutely NO (performance) mods. But this person, ahem idiot, has the decal and green splater thingy from ( a car guys worst nightmare) the smash movie fast and the furious..... sigh :rolleyes: ...... ya this guys has gotten NOTHING but hell from us since we've seen the poor car.... now i'm not much up for vandlizing other peoples property, why take out frustration on the car, what did it do.... it just sat there thru the whole process, (poor thing)..... anyways i just had to vent that one... but it does get better.... most other people have exatly what i have posted up top.... fart cans, body kits, light kits, and crappy lowering jobs on cheap wheels... there are SOME nice cars... we got alot of the new bodied Supras... for some strange reason.. but most cars here are shitty...:(

I hate that shit, kill your friends, we need less of those wanna-bee Dragster ricers (the ones with the mismatched rims) out here :p Kidding...mostly. When I went to different places, I almost never say the mismatched rim crap, I think its only here :rolleyes:
