Help With Repainting Clear Coat

Here is a pic of my 2002 Tuck it looks like the clear coat is chipping off any tips would help. I think I need to wet sand then spray pint the clear coat on in very light coats. What do you think?

That looks pretty awful. How about taking it to an autobody supply place and asking their opinion. How much of the finish is like that?

Well it's only on the driverside and it's only in these few spots. Other than these few spots the paint is in great shape. But I was thinking I may have to take off all the clear coat then reclear coat it. Cause I don't want this to start doing this all aver again farther down the time line.

This has also happened with in the past few months. I bought this truck at the end of Sept. last year and the paint was perfect all over.
