Huge Help on a Swap

I am fairly new to the whole "forum searching" so please excuse me for double or maybe even triple posting.

Here's the deal. I just brought a FRESH 1996 Nissan 200sx SE 5 speed. I want to do a Full Swap from the 1.6 engine to the sr20de engine. I was just wondering, if anyone knows a REAL good mechanic to do a full swap, in which they will also throw in all the parts needed for a successful swap in the NYC Metropolitian Area. Honestly I have no Idea what is needed to do a swap. So i'm basically a newbie on all of this. I know bodywork and suspension, once it comes to the engine Im an idiot. I have NO good connections to find out a good mechanic that would do a successful swap for the right price. The body and the current drivetrain has 125,xxx milage on it.

Also, I dunno whats up with my engine, I keep on getting a solid "CHECK ENGINE" sign. In my old 200sx the only reason i recieved that sign was cause I had to get a new clutch. I hope I dont have to do so in this one, because that would be a total waste of money if i buy a new clutch for this 1.6 tranny and then get a swap.

slideways...

theres absolutely no way a faulty clutch will send out a check engine light. go to autozone and get it scanned, they will usually do it for free.
as far as the swap, youll need an engine, transmission, axles, ecu, harness, radiator hoses, 2.0L exhaust manifold and downpipe, motor mounts(you may need custom mounts fabricated, im not sure if the 1.6 and the 2.0 mount in the same spots in the engine bay).
also, im not 100% sure if the shift linkage is the same between the two transmissions. other than that, i live far from NY so answering questions is all the help i can give you.
