headlights/ flicker

Hi all, hope you can help with this. Every now and then when I turn on my headlights on my 96 Jimmy, the daytime running lights indicator flickers(that green little light that turns off when headlights are on). The simultaneous flickering noise seems to be coming from inside the glove box, which I would presume its a fuse or relay. I have to turn the lights off and on again, and the problem goes away, but it comes back. I dont know whether its just the light switch that needs to be replaced or the relays.
