Paint Help!!!!!!

What's up everyone,

just was woundering if anyone knows a thing or two about painting. I have an aluminum wing on my red Spec and I wanted to paint the base and tips of the wing RED. I heard that u have to mix teh paint a certain way or it will come off, because of the surface texture. If any one ever painted there wing or knows of someone who has , the help would be very appreaciated. Can't aford to take it to t shop, anyways I wouldn't mind doinig it myself.

Ok, so you think I'm all about the hatin', huh? Here ya go!
An aluminum wing is usually a brush finish. To get paint to stick to it you will need to sand it smooth (to at least 600 grit smooth), primer it with an ETCHING red oxide (your car is red, right?) as you will HAVE to seal the aluminum, and have a paint retailer mix some for you to match your car. If you skip the primer it will flake right off..

Thanks for the info bro, but I really didn't like the ricer part, cuz there sure are enough of them and i luv kickn' the crap out of a ricer anyday. They just make imports look bad. Way too many civic ricers. I'm going with teh performance and I might not know everything but my friends do. We got a Supra and a rx-7 and a turbo charged SI....so we isn't ricers....and just cuz someone has an import doesn't mean they are ricers.......but i have to say I hate ricers too... and thanks for
