Lancer newbie.

Hi, I'm new to these boards but learning alot already about the Evo. I'm currently 17 and planning to get a cool ride. Here in Los Angeles, you must have a cool car. :D I have been saving up alot of money and have a job. I have want to get some with some speed, great handling, and looks and the new Evo coming to the states looks like a perfect choice. So here are my questions:

How much is the base price?

What kind of modification could I do? (intakes, etc.....)

What is the typical gas mileage of this car?

When exactly is it coming over here?

Do you think it will be one of those cars that everybody wants and hard to get? (Look at the Mini).

Yes, usually EVOs are hard to get a hand on as they get purchased fast.
Im not in the US so I cant really tell you what you can/can't mod. Try asking over at lancerforums.com, they might be able to help you a bit better.

yea, of course, my dad is a Mitsubishi Dealer, he has ordered some, and there is a wating list of at least 50 ppl already, and its not gomin out till like.. January 2003!!!
