Integra tech question

ok whats up, i just got a drag turbo kit for my 96 teg, im runnin 8 psi, i have about 3g to spend.. i was thinking new rods and pistons in order to run 10+ psi, my current rods and pistons are ok, i just know they couldnt handle the boost.. i have been recently adviced against this idea, a guy i know at big ten tires said it wasnt worth it.. i want the boost :D is it a good investment? would i be able to push 10 psi? if not does anyone have any other suggestions for me to spend my 3g on.. much appreciated :D
