1997 Suburban Remote Programming

Anyone have info on re-programming the remote on this vehicle? Right now it works on one door.

I took mine to the dealer to get a new remote for it and upon purchasing it he programmed it. what he had was a u-shaped piece of what looked like paper clip material. What you do is find the programmer port that is under the dash on the driver side and plug this u-shaped piece into it, like a jumper wire, and then hit the buttons until they all work. I tried to pay as much attension to what he was doing, but I might have missed something in the process, so you might want to call a dealer near you and ask them exactly how it works.

Buy a remote (or a pair) form ebay (arond 20-30 shipped for a pair) you bridge no 4 and no 8 on the obd diagnostic connector under steering wheel, lock unlock with drivers door pus button 2x, hold both buttons on remote for 30 sec., repeat with 2nd remote if you program more than one, remove jumper from OBD. You are done.
