question about performance.

I'm trying to boost my car and get quite a bit of quick horsepower. I don't want to spend a lot of money but want to add around 50-60. My transmission is going out so I'm in the process of getting that fixed and was wondering if the performance chips would be anything of help.... I saw www.turbonator.com website in a car magazine and it shows that they can add up to 35 hp and you can add up to 3 for only 150 bucks. Also was thinking about buying the performance cams but was wondering how hard it would be to install them. I'm somewhat new to cars but have people that help me with performance. So far I bought OBX headers AEM intake and a Magna flow exhaust system and got all newe spark plugs and plug wires. The cars a 97 and is an automatic.
