Is there an alternate way to open the hood on this vehicle? I had it down at a shop and when I got it back and tried to pop the hood like a week or two later the cable wasn't releasing the hood. I have tried to find a different way in but I can't. Is there any other way to open the hood?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might be able to use a bent coat hanger, look at the hood from underneth the front and look to see if you can see the cable going to the latch. You will have to pull it on both sides and it should open.

Remove the headlight and the headlight "bucket" on the driver's side and you should be able to grab the cable with some vise-grips and pull it. You may have to cut it if it's not broken within reach. Good Luck!

In addition, it's easy enough to take the grill off from outside screws if you want some extra room to look around...
