Accord Idles @ 3k!! Help!!

I have a '90 accord DX with a 5spd F22. It has about 230,000 miles on it. Question is; I can not get the car to idle. It idles around 3,000 RPM. It is annoying as crap to drive... it will do 55 mph in 5th gear without touching the gas. I have checked the norm... plugs, pcv valve, timing, throttle cable, and throttle stop screw. I check the idle mixture screw and it has not be tampered with.

The car had the classic crappy honda irrattic idle when I got it for 200 bucks from my buddy. He couldn't stand the way the car ran and wanted to get rid of it... it would bouce up and down between 2,300 and 3,400 rpm and was impossible to drive.,,, So I unscrewed a TPS sensor from a 91 civic intake I had laying around and put it on the accord intake. (I had to reverse the spring on the civic TPS sensor... as the sensor is backwards on the accord from the civic intakes) It worked to my amazement and the idle smoothed out. Now I just can't get it to idle any slower than 3,000.

I have tryed unplugging sensors; the TPS sensor made the motor slow slightly once it thew the CEL, but it idled slightly stumbly then. For those of you wondering, I am pretty sure my hacked up civic TPS sensor I put on the intake is working fine so I'm leaning towards thinking its not that.

I unplugged what I think is the IAC valve (two pin connector) and that made the idle drop down around 2,300RPM, but caused the motor to miss and it also randomly caused the motor to struggle for fuel when i punch it.

I then unplugged what I think is the fast idle valve (off to the left of the intake.) and that didn't do much of anything.

I pulled a vacume hose of and the motor dropped down to 500 rpm... woo full rich mixture!!

I am out of ideas, I usually work on B series so I'm not as familiar with these older accord intake systems. I have never worked on them so i would appreciate the help. Thanks guys!

I know u said u checked the usual things, but I didn't see the distributor (rap and rotor maybe?), or plug wires. also check out the fuel filter

those are all brand new about 5,000 miles ago

I think its the TPS sensor... I got a CEL last night thowing a code 7... which would mean a TPS sensor, which would make sense considering i getto rigged that civic one on there.

where can i but a new TPS sensor?
