I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 off road super cab, it has 60,000 miles on it. Problem is after it sits over night it has trouble starting. When you go to start it it will not turn over unless you give it gas, and hold the acclerator down till it warms up then it runs fine. When the problem happens it seems like it is not getting enough fuel. Can anyone help with this problem.
thanks in advance.

Sounds like the Idle speed Control solenoid is not working properly. You can check it by tapping on it with a screwdriver handle while someone tries to start the vehicle. If it starts and runs, either clean or replace. Cleaning may last a short while till you can replace it.

I had this same problem on my truck. It ended being the idle air control valve.
It's on your intake straight back from the throttle body. Not that hard to change. I found one on ebay for 12.00. Dealer wants 80.00.
If you do end up changing this be careful not to drop the gasket, I did and
couldn't recover it from under the intake.
