I was watching the Little League World Series and came across a game which the team from Sadia Arabia was playing in. They were introducing the team and this one kid came up....his name Aaron Durley, his stats.....13 years of age, 6'8'' tall, 256lbs, size 19 shoe. I'm thinking, HOLY SHIT this kid looks like he is in his 20s at least. they did a thing on yahoo as well if anyone is interested. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060821/ap_on_sp_ot/bby_little_league

I think this might me another incident where a little leauge team puts an older kid on their team (saying he's 13) just to get an advantage

I think this might me another incident where a little leauge team puts an older kid on their team (saying he's 13) just to get an advantageever since the last incident a few years ago where they used a 16 year old on the team, they now do pretty extensive research on all the kids backgrounds. so it isnt another incident of putting an older kid on the team. Trust me I know when I was that age I played in the Cooperstown Tournament in Cooperstown New York. And when we first got there they came right at us with all the questions about our birthday, mothers maiden name, address shit like that to make sure we werent trying to pass of as someone else.

He'd rival Yao Ming or Shaq without breaking a sweat by the time he's old enough to join the NBA.

He'd rival Yao Ming or Shaq without breaking a sweat by the time he's old enough to join the NBA.speaking of shaq they did a comparison between the 2 at that age. at the age of 13 shaq was 6'6'' and wore size 16 shoe and that other kid is 6'8'' with size 19 shoe.

Im not positive but didnt he play last year too? I know you can but i just remember a giant kid from another country last yr too. I love watching the little league world series. The teams i played for as a kid(10 years ago) got to regionals last yr. When i was that age a team from MN went, sadly they beat us 2-1.

I wonder what he looks like in the batter's box holding a little 30in bat.Its actually quite funny considering the bat only comes up to his knees

I sincerely doubt that he uses a bat that short.

I sincerely doubt that he uses a bat that short.Have you seen a game he played in??? Because I have and yes the bat is that tiny.

Im not positive but didnt he play last year too?Yes he did play last year, but he was only 12 and 6'6''

i dunno about him playing linebacker...he's a little too big for that, but that kid is huge. I knew a kid like that...when he was 9, the local football league wouldnt let him play with the 14 year olds anymore. he will be playing at usc in a few years (but seriously, he will...his older brother and dad did).

Hmmm well maybe there's a rule in that age league that they can only swing a bat of a certain size....

Yup, well I know in high school atleast I think the biggest they'd let you use is a 34in. Either way, any bat he uses is gonna look small compared to him.

that's why I had to quit playing baseball.
I swing a big stick :lol2:

anyways I read that he was only 6'4 when he played last year. That makes me believe there's no foul play. Get it... "foul" play... hahaha... okay whatever.

When I was 13 I was only 6'1... I'm full grown at 6'8 now.

I dont recall any bats rules when i was a kid. I know we used like -9s and crap( as in 9 ounces less then the length.) I swung a 31 inch bat then. 10 years later im swinging a 32.

When I was playing ball in highschool I was swinging a 34'' 32 ouncer.
