emissions in oregon?

hi, i'm moving to oregon on the 1st and i'd like to bring my and register my car over there (95 eclipse gst, modded) but i heard that they have emissions, and i dont wanna put it back to stock, my mother-in-law is there and she told me that theres a lot of racers, i was like , how do they get away with it? is there an specific year that dont have to pass emissions?any help would be appreciated, thanks

Look up the actual emissions laws for the state of Oregon. I thought the entire state of Washington required them but I found that only specific zip codes did (though there was enough of them to cover just about everyplace I'd ever want to live anyway). Perhaps where you are going doesn't require them. And, passing an emissions test is usually not that hard. My 240 of 220,000 miles and god knows how many ailments passed. My Z passed with no pre-cats, big cams, no EGR, aftermarket ECU, intake and a bunch of other crap...come to think of it I think the emissions equipment still on it is the main cats, but I'll fix that problem soon.

Anyway, just make sure your car is running correctly and you have a good set of catalytic convertors on it and I doubt you'll have a problem.

thanks for the info, but i think that's the main problem, my turbo dont like back-pressure, so i have aftermarket catalyc converters, and no egr, FMIC and all that other stuff.
