Damsel in distress!!!!
Hi there
I'm trying to change the rear discs and pads on shogun and i've got the calipers off and the pads out but the disc won't budge for me to get the old one off and the new one on. Any ideas on what I haven't done please?

If you're not familiar with how to dis-assemble a braking system it might not be a good idea to do this repair yourself, since it affects not only your life but others around you.
That said, if it's anything like the front disk's on my 90, then you'll have to unbolt them from axles. They're bolted in back (in-board). You may have to disconnect the axles from the differential (circlips inside diff probably) & pull the axles outwards to access the bolts holding the disks in place.

Hello Sian
I have no idea about cars other than I know how to drive them ,that is why I would like to ask you a really silly question I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Shogun and I think a seal has gone somewhere in or around the gearbox My car goes into the garage to be repaired in 2 weeks time and I am losing gearbox oil I am trying to avoid other problems so I bought gearbox oil to top it up but I have no idea where it goes ? can you please help ? Regards Ellie
