Hi everyone
After making of the F430 spider, I have started a new project on the F430 stradale concept. Basically, it would be based on the Fujimi F430 chalenge kit and the 360 stradale decal.

After spraying primer, I have test-built the kit. This kit is different from the hard-roof version which incorporated with engine hood marking on the body and different detail at the tail.

The fitting of this kit is good!

As usual, sanding away the moulding lines on the body.

and primer the body in pink.

Since I have made Ferraris models in black colour before, I would choose the red colour for the F430 stradale concept this time. The red is of Lummi Red by Finisher's paint.

Time to decaling the Italian strips on the body

Done !!!

After allowing to dry the body for 2 days, I have sprayed 2 layers of clear coat on it.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Ferrari%20F430%20Challenge%20Stradale/060730013-1.jpg
After drying for 4 days, I have sanding the body to level the thickness of the clear coat on the decal and do the compound job as well.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Ferrari%20F430%20Challenge%20Stradale/060819011-1.jpg
For the cockpit, I have only detailing the steering wheel.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Ferrari%20F430%20Challenge%20Stradale/060813084-1.jpg
and adding PE for the pedals as well. The interior was sprayed using texture paint.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Ferrari%20F430%20Challenge%20Stradale/060813100-1.jpg
For the body, the window frames and the windscreen were paints. For the side window, I finally decided to cut them off and allow them to remain open for better viewing the cockpit. :grinno:

It looks fantastic. Personally, I'd put a second seat in as it's a "stradale", but it's your model.
I love the shine you've achieved, it's superb.

Hello all
Thank you for the comment so far.
Some more update today
1. The fast-open-lock were replaced by optional PE parts.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Ferrari%20F430%20Challenge%20Stradale/060826087-1.jpg
The one on the right hand-side is from original Fujimi kit. I have spent almost an hour to build the 4 locks.

Fantastic. It's also one of few times that I seen pink tint under the Rosso Corsa, like recomended by finisher's: great. As Ales said I'll see 2nd seat inside, but it's amazing anyway.
