2002 cvpi intermittent fast blinker

Hi All, haven't posted in a while because fortunately I haven't had many issues lately. I do have an 02 that gives me an intermittent fast blinker. Obviously the fast blinker is usually indicative of a dead bulb but since it does it intermittently on both sides with no real rhyme or reason, figured I'd check in with the forum. Thank you

Possibly a bad multi-function switch. Common failure on Fords. Contacts inside the switch get dirty or coffee or soft drink gets spilled down in the flasher area.
