92 Wrangler steering column failure

I have a 92 Wrangler that the steering column broke in two in the middle of the tilt portion. Can anyone tell me whether or not a column from a 93 Cherokee will swap directly? I'm broke but have access to the Cherokee column. I would like to utilize it if at all possible. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
