94 civic spyder body kit problem

i have a 94 civic body kit is fine but the spyder hood will not mount right it mounts to the factory holes in the hinges but when u put the hood down it sets up half an inch above the fenders but it sets where it needs to on the bumper whats wrong how can i fix this problem

you could try taking out any washers that are between the hood and hinge....or just say you made it like that cuz you wanted the tilt hood look (some people actually try and make the back of the hood stick up higher than the fenders...they say it helps engine cooling..i have no proof either way)
