I don't think they'll be using a hood at all... I think it's designed to just shock and awe.

I'm pretty sure it moves :p
Most 1000whp Supras usually have a hole in their hood for the ganormous turbo that they have.
I have to admit though, that it's highly unlikely that that car gets traction, even with slicks. I'd love to see the look on a Supra owners face when he raced that car from a roll though :D

haha i highly doubt it would beat the supra because it would still be spinning its tires at 180mph.

If it was tubbed and fully race prepped... it would maybe pull down some low 6's.
Although, with such a short wheelbase it'd be next to impossible to control I would think.

Good ole GM and their short wheelbase philosophy. I love how they did it with my WS6. It helps out cornering a bunch :shakehead

Short wheel base is good for cornering, helps keep the car tucked in and not a boat.
Longer wheel base is good for drag racing and highspeed runs. Helps keep it stable.

Pretty sick. Was it just me or did anybody else look at the one picture and think that it looked like a truck? Must have beena weird angle or something, but I was looking at it for a few seconds trying to decide if they had chopped the back half. Just looked weird. Gotta love turbos big enough to devour small children

It's a Holden Ute SS: http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_1572/article.html?popularArticle
Comes with an LS1 stock. If I'm not mistaken, there might be some newer models with the LS2 also. If ever imported here, which I doubt, it'll likely be the new El Camino.
I don't really care what body the engine is in, I just want that engine.
