I cant believe there is no Expo forum..hmm, anywho...
I have a 1992 expo. I let it sit for about 2 months. I recently went to move it and there were no brakes, at all..none..I looked under the hood and the M/C was completly empty..I filled it up and still nothing. The brake pedal goes all the way down to the floor.I thought that maybe bleeding them would do the trick..Nothing still..There is no indication of leakage on any of the lines that are visiable. When the car is off, the brakes are hard, like the air is built up in them, like normal i guess. But as soon as i start the car, nothing..Someone said maybe the booster.I cant afford 200.00 right now, is it possible to fix the booster or rebuild it myself?? I need expert advise from both jerry riggers and Hired pros alike..:banghead:
Thank you in advance..

Brake pistons are probably stuck or the brake pads/shoes are stuck to the housings. Have them checked. You said you've bled the brakes so I'm assuming that all lines to the brakes are not clogged. HTH

BTW, If your Expo is the LRV variant (5 seater), check out the RVR thread, if it's the base model (7 seater) then check out the Chariot thread.

Thank you. I also wanted to or forgot to mention. I have been using the Emergancy brake for stopping, not sure it that matters..But, the E/B has been working fine..:banghead:
