Hi,
I have a 1994 Ranger XLT with a 4.0 liter and manual 5 speed transmission that does not seem to be engaging to move the truck in any gear.
I changed the slave cylinder to the transmission about a year ago and put a new clutch plate on it, since i had to drop the transmission off to replace the slave cylinder (inside the transmission).
A couple days ago, when I put it in gear the truck wouldn't move at all.
The transmission shifts fine and the clutch feels like normal pressure, but I also noticed that it will shift into gear even without pushing down the clutch.
The clutch master cylinder has fluid in it.
The shaft to the rear end does not move, so it seems that the transmission is not engaging even though it will shift into gear.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kyle.
