1994 Cougar Tranny Question

I have a 94 Cougar and Need to replace the Tranny. Im going to get a used one from the autowreckers.
It is an automatic with a 3.8 Litre. What years transmissions can I use with this car and from what vehicles.

call a junkyard, they have all the interchangable info, yrs & models. a t-bird tranny and probably a mustang with same eng would work.
