i don't know how to review this to you guys without spoilers, so i'll say what i told my friend:

That was the most retarded piece of shit i've ever seen in my life... it was INTENSE!
All the hype you've heard? sorry, no light sabers, no chuck norris. this movie was serious, like, serious serious... but funny as all hell. still... serious thriller... sort of.
whats the plot? ... well, there are these snakes... and there's this plane... and there's mace windu kicking fucking ass. GO SEE IT!

I was going to start a thread about this but I saw you had one.

The idea I think is uncanny. I just saw a comic about it and I can't handle the laughter very well right now. Who thinks of this stuff.

I will view the movie ASAP!

I can't even explain how excited I was to see this movie.

And I wasn't let down. The drama, the intensity, the snakes! Oh, it was all so terrible it was great.

A masterpiece of filmmaking...."We're in a 200 ft. aluminum tube 30,000 ft. in the air!!"

In my opinion, one of the best movies ever. I'm not even kidding. I was laughing and terrified through the whole thing, it was fantastic.

Funny yet scary? What a great combo. I'll check it out.

Yeah, Im not sure if any movie has ever really scared me........well, Mothman Prophosies did, but that was a while ago, and it was based on a true story.

I live somewhat close to where it happened, I was 12, and i saw it RIGHT before i went camping. It was enough to get me a little scared, thats all. lol dont get me wrong, i own the movie now,& i like it. its not the least bit scary.

I saw 4 movies this week alone, each one was awsome!
First it was Snakes on a Plane, then it was Talidega Nights, then Accepted, then Beerfest! i think this has been the best summer for movies in a long time!

I've only seen talidega nights out of the movies you list there, but want to see Beer fest.

Snakes? ... umm, as a movie, 1 out of 5... but if you're one of those people who just love strange comedy, 5 out or 5.
Honestly, its just a serious thriller. Just snakes... on a plane... It's kind of a movie with a cult following, like Rocky Horror Picture Show. There will be those who say its the best damn thing ever, and there are those who will just say it downright sucks. I think the reason i enjoyed Snakes on a Plane so much was because of the people who were in the theater. I'm pretty sure a lot of them were drunk (like in beerfest, lol). seeing the movie with a few people on TV or DVD won't cut it, i think. check it out, but its a gamble

I keep hearing that the only way to see "Snakes..." is on the big screen with a crowd. Otherwise the effect is lost. But none of my loser ass friends nor my gf will go see it! :banghead: Any Chicagoland AFers wanna have a Snakes On A Plane meet? :p
