1997 Park Ave tachometer problem

I like this car but it's doing a few strange things. One, the tachometer needle is now completely wound all the way over so it's sitting under the peg instead of above it, so it's not registering at all. Not sure what would cause this as I didn't try to drag race it and over-rev it or anything. :nono: Any fix for this or does it need replacing? One other problem is with the Cruise control function that is working whenever it feels like it and basically not at all lately. It will sometimes hold and then let go again after a few seconds. Been a real good car for the most part.
