Intake Mannifolds

I have a 89 civic with a dpfi intake manifold i was wondering will a shunk2 pro series fit on and hook up or will i have to switch over to mpfi?

You have to convert.

He is correct. Just about anything you want to do for performance your gonna need to convert.

How much will it cost do buy the stuff for the conversion?

If you watch on the various forums and ebay you can usually find the whole setup for probably 250 or so, sometimes significantly less (including distributor and ecu)

Alternativly if you look around you may be able to find an entire a6 for less than that.

i picked mien up for right aroudn 500 installed meaing 400 in aprts. but i also had to track dont soem hard parts or i needed parts asap. but i pickedu p the basics with harness for like 200. so like tsc said check ebay frequently.

yeah i found a couple mpfi swaps when i was lookin on there the other night.

this may sound stupid but what is dpfi and mpfi??

dual point fuel injection and multi point fuel injection. some 4th gen civics and crxs came with two fuel injectors then later honda added another two to boost gas mileage. mpfi squeezes some more power out of the d15b2 and allows some performance mods to be added and also is needed for a b-series swap.
