94 Jimmy Starting Problem

Last summer (2005) I replaced the started in my truck. Around January I started having problems starting it when it was warm, by problems I mean I'd turn the key to the start position but nothing would happen -no click, nada. This happened very rarely so I figured I could live with it. That was dumb, I know.
It's gotten so bad now that it almost never starts warm or cold and most of the time I need to jump the starter manually to get it to start. I've checked the wiring on the starter and everything is tight and connected.
Has anyone run into this, or have any ideas what it could be?
All the mechanics I know have said to check the connections at the starter and once I told them I did that, they didn't have a clue.
Thanks in advance!

Solenoid is stuck.
Have the starter removed and lubricated or replace the solenoid.

Sounds like the pump. Run a pressure test on it and post back your numbers.
