Electrical problems?

So I have read about and experienced the burning up of the antenna/defogger splitter device in the alero's. Now I am also finding that my radio occasionally reprograms many things. Specifically, it seems to have set audio levels for given radio stations, ie- one station has bass and treble at 5, and mid at 0. Another has all equal, and still another has bass at 2 and mid/treble at 1. These have stayed permanent for some time, but other programmed stations change often. I would like to make this go away. Any help?

Thanks
Joe

When you program the stations into the radio, it also saves things like treble and bass settings as well as fade and balance settings. To fix this, tune the radio to a station you want to program. Then set the sound features to where you like them. Finally, program the station and settings into the radio.

So when I set a station, it also saves whatever settings where present at that time, correct? I thought I was loosin it, yet again.

Also- the filter tihingy associated with the defogger and antenna wiring- do those cost much to replace?

Thanks
Joe
