Gonna change the transmission fluid on my dads 1993 pathfinder, need to know the following.

-Steps/Advice/Tips

-Drain plug location ( I'm thinking driver side )

-Fill location

-If its ok to fill from the shifter hole

-Type of Fluid to use (GL-3 , GL-4 ? )

-How much Fluid would I need

GL-4 only, fill plug's on the side if you take a look underneath. Add an extra quart from the shifter hole after you get it up to the fill hole level and you'll be golden. They put the fill plug too low on the case, so it should have an extra quart.
