Front Speakers

Hey folks, can anyone tell me how tough it is to replace the front door lower speakers in a 95 EX 2dr with the JBL sound system? THere are panels that look removable, but don't want to pry them out for fear of breaking something off.
Any help?

I do believe that your mentioned speaker cover do just pop off. However, chances are if you really have to force it...you're gonna break something. The door panel assembly is relatively easy to take off...a few screws and some restraint. that should make getting to the speakers alot easier.

You can't take the cover off, you have to take the door panel off, easy

yes the covers come off........try to be carefull but they do come off.

y'know what, Im not too totally sure about the '95s, but if the covers do come off, easily or otherwise, you may wanna just take the door panel off anyway. That way you can get to all the screws and speaker mount n such much easier. just a thought

Thanks folks, yes they came off and rather easily, grabbing from the bottom. The screws are accesable as well.
