First, the car turns over but will not start. At first this only occured when the car was in direct sunlight, or if it was over about 80 degrees. But now it does not start period, however, if i time the gas and ignition right, i get hold the ignition in Start and the car runs, the starter stops when i put it into gear, but i have to keep the ignition in start the whole time. Any ideas?
Next, when car gets up to the top of the 3rd gear, it attempts to go into 4th but only revs up big and drops into 3rd and it drives normally at high speeds, but revving over 4500 rpms in 3rd. Again im clueless.

Transmission: check to see if overdrive button is pressed. Check your transmission fluid.
Ignition problem: I suspect that your ignition switch is faulty.
